A Warm Base Layer Under your Operating Room Scrubs
The first product designed specifically to help you stay warm beneath your scrubs.
We here at undORwear, Inc. know you're COLD. How do we know? Our founder is a practicing anesthesiologist with over 12 years of experience being cold in the OR, watching his colleagues bundle up with whatever they can find. We have spent much time researching the behavior habits of Nurses, CRNA's, and Doctors in the OR, and all our feedback indicates that they are continually cold and uncomfortable. Whether it's an operating room or other sub-sterile environment it seems there's no lack of good air conditioning!
When you go outside on a cool day, let's say 56 to 65 degrees, do you wear a thin cotton top with matching cotton pants? No!! You wear a jacket, a sweatshirt, or a warmer base layer. But in a work environment where the operating room attire is a set of cotton scrubs, wearing these other items isn't an option, especially when you work in a hospital, a lab, or sterile processing area. On top of that, state regulatory and accrediting agencies have strict rules and infection control policies regarding attire that prevent you from wearing clothing under your operating room scrub top.
Until now. . . "Warmth You Can Wear" We've designed a thermal base layer made from the same comfortable yet substantial fabrics you'd look for in a shirt that you'd wear for any outdoor or winter activity. Our shirt is breathable, soft, and moisture wicking so it keeps you WARM and dry all day.
"Warmth You Can Wear" Our scrub undershirt is designed with fit specifications that make it undetectable under the standard scrub top. Like the underwear you wear under your scrub bottoms every day (well, we think!) you CAN wear our shirt under your scrub top as long as it is completely covered by the scrub. We've spoken to many state regulatory agencies and researched policies and found that if the shirt is completely covered by the scrub you're good to go.
"Warmth You Can Wear" Our state of the art antimicrobial material inhibits the growth of many bacteria, especially those that cause odors. This antimicrobial was field tested on military personnel in extreme conditions and was found to be highly resistant to odor causing bacteria. So go ahead, WEAR it all day, even a couple of days straight, and you'll still feel (and smell!) as clean as the first time you wore it. In addition, by inhibiting the growth of bacteria such as MRSA the antimicrobial in our shirt makes it even more applicable for wearing under scrubs in a health care environment.
We here at undORwear, Inc. are confident that once you put on one of our shirts you'll want to make it an everyday part of your wardrobe at work. Just read some of our testimonials and you'll see how thrilled our customers are to finally have something that helps them stay warmer. UndORwear, "Warmth You Can Wear"
